Who is the orange cap holder in the 2024 IPL?

Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bengaluru is back at No. 1 on the list of top run-scorers in the 2024 IPL. He made 42 in his team's win over Gujarat Titans on Saturday and now has 542 runs at a strike rate of 148.08 from 11 games.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai Super Kings' captain, is at No. 2, with 509 runs from ten matches. Gaikwad and Kohli are the only two batters to have scored over 500 runs this season.
At No. 3 is Gujarat Titans' Sai Sudharsan, with 424 runs, followed by Rajasthan Royals' Riyan Parag, whose 77 off 49 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday took him to 409 runs.
In fifth place, three runs behind Parag, is Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul. He is followed by Rishabh Pant, the Delhi Capitals captain, with 398 from 11 matches.
Then comes Phil Salt of Kolkata Knight Riders , who is one run behind Pant. And one run behind Salt is Sunrisers' Travis Head, on 396.
Among the top 20 run-makers, three Sunrisers batters lead the way on strike rate - Abhishek Sharma with 208.60, Head with 194.11, and Heinrich Klaasen on 189.32. Jake Fraser-McGurk, outside the top 20, has the extraordinary strike rate of 233.33; he has made 259 runs from six innings this season.
Jos Buttler is the leading century-maker in this year's IPL, with two hundreds. Marcus Stoinis' 124 not out against CSK is the highest individual score of the season. Jonny Bairstow, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, Will Jacks, Narine, Gaikwad, Kohli and Head are the other batters to have scored hundreds this IPL. Gaikwad, Kohli, Parag, Salt and Samson have made four fifties each.

Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has gone back up to No. 1 on the list of top wicket-takers in the 2024 IPL following his 3 for 18 against KKR on Friday. He now has 17 wickets from 11 games at the economy rate of 6.25.
T Natarajan, who took 2 for 35 in the one-run win over Royals on Thursday is at No. 2, with 15 wickets from eight matches.
CSK's Mustafizur Rahman and Punjab Kings seamer Harshal Patel both have 14 wickets apiece; Mustafizur has the better economy rate of the two - 9.26.
In fifth place with 13 wickets from only six games is CSK fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana. Six other bowlers have taken 13 wickets each - Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy of KKR, Mukesh Kumar of DC, Gerald Coetzee of MI, Arshdeep Singh of PBKS, and Yuzvendra Chahal of Rajasthan Royals, who this season became the first bowler in the history of the IPL to take 200 wickets.
Four bowlers are on 12 wickets apiece: Kuldeep Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed of DC, Sam Curran of Punjab, and Pat Cummins of SRH.
Only three bowlers have taken five-fors so far this season - Bumrah, Yash Thakur of LSG, and Sandeep Sharma of Royals. Eight bowlers - Pathirana, Kuldeep, Natarajan, Mustafizur, Arshdeep, Coetzee, Tushar Deshpande and R Sai Kishore - have taken four in an innings.
No spinners feature among the top five wicket-takers in this season of the IPL. Chahal, Kuldeep, Narine and Varun Chakravarthy of KKR are the only spinners among the top 20. Narine has the second-best economy rate after Bumrah among the top 20 wicket-takers, 6.72, and Pathirana the third best, with 7.68.
